FAM Trip to Costa Rica

travel-destination-wedding-ideasLast week, Annie Plannie got to go to Costa Rica on another FAM trip, and as usual the itinerary and accommodations didn’t disappoint.

While she was there, Annie got all kinds of design inspiration (see below).  From these perfect color palette feathers to beautifully weathered driftwood, plus a party of hermit crabs that hopefully hasn’t copyrighted their design so we can use it on an upcoming destination wedding invite.

The Four Seasons in Costa Rica:  perfect for a honeymoon, destination wedding, or just stopping through–we love how the resort fits in perfectly with the surrounding lush green landscape. Plus, Beyonce was just here at the villa’s pool for Kelly Rowland’s secret wedding.  If it’s good enough for Queen B it’s good enough for us, any day.

Next stop on our list: Andaz Costa Rica, which just opened in December and is minutes away from the Four Seasons Costa Rica.   We love the design aesthetic of Andaz (check out that lounge area) and of course Annie Plannie liked the colorful van so much she had to snap a picture (in her beach-ready red hat).

And last but not least–Villa Manzu, the largest villa (30,000 sq feet!) in Central America, owned by Heli Ski Resort owner.  It costs $15K a night but that includes sleep accommodations for up to 22, all  food and drinks, transfers, chef and staff. Perfect for an intimate destination wedding!
